Jumbo Series No.3

$450.00

Named after the pencil used to create the artworks - Koh-I-Noor Jumbo Triangular Coloured Pencils - this series is the latest result of my experiments with generative art and my plotter machine. The base of the structure are only two shapes, outlined with one color per shape.

This composition presents a clear order within, and each of the shape is grouped in a neat row. There is still slight disorganisation as the spacing between the shapes is irregular. The vivid emerald and dark blue colored pencil shades overlap and blend together.

The plotter translates the precision of the algorithm onto a physical surface. Inevitably, the pressure of the pencil varies, and the paper’s tooth interferes, which only adds richness to the final drawing. Ships framed in wooden frame with 2" matting. Ready to hang.

11” X 15” | Generative Art | Arches Watercolor 300g/m Paper | Framed | Signed | 2024
